Push/Pull grew from my relationship with desire, the body, and the lengths people go to become who they want to be. This led me from the incel black pill community to Victorian looksmaxxing culture to the archetypes of the American high school. The collection uses body distortion, sports uniforms, and athleisure to build its silhouettes, with pleating and volume referencing muscle and tendon. The name borrows from gym split days but also describes desire itself. Beauty can come from a sad and dirty place, and this collection tries to explore both.
